MTA is proud to announce the grand opening of our newest office in the Los Angeles area marking a major milestone in the company’s national expansion and strengthening our coast-to-coast logistics network.

Located in Inglewood, California, just minutes from LAX and within reach of the region’s major port infrastructure, this new hub enhances MTA’s ability to support both coastal and inland cargo flows while meeting rising customer demand for flexible, end-to-end logistics coverage across the country.

Why Los Angeles? Why Now?

The Los Angeles region sits at the heart of global trade, serving as one of the busiest gateways for ocean and air freight entering the United States. Establishing an office here allows MTA to deepen our presence in a high-volume logistics corridor and better support customers navigating the complexities of West Coast supply chains.

This strategic move marks MTA’s first official West Coast office, expanding the company’s footprint beyond our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters in the Midwest and our East Coast capabilities through Saratoga Forwarding, which joined MTA in 2025. Together, these offices create a powerful tri-coastal alignment across the Midwest, East Coast, and West Coast that works alongside our global logistics network, strengthening how we support customers across major domestic and international trade lanes.

What This Expansion Means for Customers

  • Enhanced West Coast Coverage
By establishing a local team in LA, MTA can now deliver faster response times, tighter coordination with West Coast partners, and greater flexibility for shipments moving through critical ports such as Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Oakland.

  • Streamlined Coast-to-Coast Coordination
With operational hubs now spanning the full length of the United States, MTA is better positioned to synchronize communication, scheduling, and oversight for nationwide cargo movements. This nationwide coordination connects directly with our global operations, giving customers a consistent experience across domestic and international trade lanes.

  • One Team, Same Trusted Support
No matter which MTA office you engage—Cleveland, Saratoga, or Los Angeles—customers can expect consistent, personalized service delivered by a team committed to proactive communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and operational excellence.

A Milestone Rooted in MTA’s Core Values

As an employee-owned company, MTA’s growth is guided by its foundational values: Knowledge, Dedication, Positivity, and Reliability. These principles shape every customer interaction, inform every logistics solution, and drive our company’s long-term strategy, including expansions designed to strengthen flexibility, responsiveness, and global reach.

The new Los Angeles office represents more than geographic growth. It is a continuation of MTA’s commitment to building a stronger, smarter, nationwide logistics network that delivers measurable value to every customer.

A New Chapter for MTA

The opening of the LA office is a significant step forward, expanding MTA’s capabilities and reinforcing our promise to deliver customer-first logistics solutions backed by a global network and an employee-owned culture. The LA office will be led by Orlando Pereira, Director of West Coast Operations, and will support continued growth in one of the most critical logistics markets in the country.

This new office reinforces our commitment to Delivering First-Class Solutions® — wherever your freight needs to go.
